How to fix printing issues in Thunderbird

If you're experiencing issues printing from Thunderbird, the most likely solution is to go into your Thunderbird settings, access the "Config Editor," and "Reset" the "print_printer" setting, which essentially resets your default printer within the application; this usually requires restarting Thunderbird to take effect. 

How to fix printing issues in Thunderbird:

Open Thunderbird settings: Go to "Tools" > "Options" > "Advanced" > "General".

Access Config Editor: Click on "Config Editor".

Find print setting: In the search bar, type "print_printer".

Reset the setting: Right-click on "print_printer" and select "Reset".

Restart Thunderbird: Close and reopen Thunderbird to apply the changes. 

Date & Time Greyed out on Windows server 2022, even if I´m logged in as Domain Admin

 

You can  do this from Server Manager > Local Server. 

In the Properties panel, click the time zone and that will open the Date and Time popup.

Manually compact outlook data file

 Open “MS Outlook” >> Click on “File” tab >> “Account Settings” >> Go to “Data Files” tab >> Click the data file that you want to compact, and then click “Settings”. Click on “Compact Now” button.

 navigate to the key "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\USBSTOR" and change the value of "Start" to "4
